The Good Neighbor Card is a charitable giving initiative to provide assistance to
children, families and the elderly who are faced with low-income, hunger and homelessness.
- The reloadable ‘prepaid’ card will provide a monthly supplement to be spent on staples
and necessities.
- Family and Children Services, domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters and
providers for the disabled and elderly will distribute the cards to clients.
- Online donors will be able to track in ‘real time’ how the cards are being used;
for milk, bread, cheese, medicine, diapers, fruit, etc.
Good Neighbor, the name of the card, is not only descriptive of those providing
the help; but also protects the dignity of the recipients when presenting their
card at checkout.
- Donors:
