Gen Y Driven by good! Recent findings by researchers from Mintel International estimates the spending power of 14-24 year olds to be 1.2 trillion 35 top CEOs and senior marketers were surveyed about marketing to Gen Y and what drives them to make specific purchases.

The survey also revealed that social media has become integral to marketing efforts Almost half reported that they believed online and social media will be the “most impactful media in connecting with Generation Y over the next two years.” Another 34 percent said mobile would be the most impactful.
